FICO Moves to Bespoke Pricing for 2027 Mortgage Scores

In a press release published November 4, FICO reported fiscal fourth quarter 2026 results and said it is moving away from one published mortgage score price toward what it calls bespoke pricing, negotiated with each lender. FICO's release says one bespoke program, the FICO Preferred Program, already has several deals signed, and FICO is working with other lenders on programs that will cover calendar year 2027.

"We are in the middle of this pricing transition, where programs and agreements are still being finalized, and the outcomes of mortgage market challenges are uncertain."
 Will Lansing, chief executive officer

  • Scores revenue for the quarter was $413.8 million, up 33 percent from $311.6 million a year earlier.
  • FICO said the gain in its B2B scores business came mainly from a higher mortgage origination score price, which offset a drop in mortgage origination volume.
  • FICO is not issuing fiscal year 2027 guidance, citing the pricing transition and uncertain mortgage market conditions.

We've received information from FICO on pricing options for 2027 and are currently sorting through the details to understand including how these pricing options will be operationalized for lenders.   IR will share more detail as we learn more.
