New Direct Integration with Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor® (LPA®)

Informative Research has completed a new direct integration with Freddie Mac Loan Product Advisor® (LPA®), supporting Freddie Mac’s updated provider framework with a target effective date of May 31, 2026.

As part of this update, Informative Research is now available as a direct provider option under vendor code #4000, creating new opportunities for future innovation, expanded capabilities, and deeper integration with Freddie Mac.

What’s Changing

Freddie Mac has expanded provider options within LPA. Informative Research is now included as a direct provider option for eligible workflows.

This provides lenders with an additional connectivity option while positioning Informative Research for future enhancements and continued innovation.

What This Means for Lenders

1. Lenders Using Third-Party LOS or POS Platforms

No immediate action is required.

LOS and POS providers are actively working to implement the new vendor ID within their systems. Any required workflow updates or changes will be communicated by the platform provider and/or Informative Research at a later date.

2. Lenders with Proprietary Systems (Direct LPA Connection)

If a lender maintains their own integration with LPA:

• They should review the latest LPA Bulletin from Freddie Mac.
• Begin planning updates to transition to the new vendor configuration.
• Specifically, they will need to update their LPA Vendor Code.
