The Work Number (TWN) from Equifax contains over 700 million employment records contributed by more than 4 million employers, yet lenders often ask, “Does it have relevant data on the borrowers I’m trying to verify?” A new service—TWN Report Indicator + Income Qualify (IQ)—helps answer that question efficiently and at the earliest stages of the lending process.
TWN Indicator + IQ is delivered as an addendum to an Equifax credit report ordered through Informative Research, offering a preview of available TWN records at no additional cost. The addendum includes:
Employer name, tenure, and annualized income details help confirm that the TWN record is relevant—not outdated or unrelated employment history that may be inconsequential to the loan.
TWN Indicator + IQ boosts lender confidence that verification of income and employment (VOIE) can be readily obtained at the right phase of the loan origination process, while deferring the cost of a full VOIE report until it’s truly needed.
To get started, contact your Informative Research representative to request a contract addendum. Enabling the service requires no development work—just configuration by your Client Success specialist. Once completed, you’ll begin receiving the TWN Indicator + IQ addendum as a supplemental page at the end of each credit report.
